Dogs Give USFSP Students A Furry Finals Break

USF St. Petersburg students got a little extra help dealing with the stress of Finals Week in the form of wet noses and fuzzy faces.

Dogs from the Pinellas County chapter of Therapy Dogs International stopped by the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library Wednesday afternoon to give the students a furry study break.

“We’re always looking for ways to help students be successful and we saw this as a new way to reach out to them,’’ said Carol Hixson, dean of the Poynter Library.  “Judging by the response we’ve gotten, there seems to be a lot of interest.”
