Karen Holbrook may have been new to the job when she became regional chancellor of the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee last December, but she wasn't new to USF - and she certainly wasn't new to leading a college.
Holbrook sat down recently with WUSF's University Beat and talked about why she returned to USF, how she's hoping to help the smallest of the university's three campuses grow, and her thoughts on USFSM losing its separate accreditation and consolidating with USF Tampa and USF St. Petersburg under one umbrella.
We'll have details from the interview here later today, for now, here's her extended discussion on this week's University Beat.
